Gutter Cleaning
in Charlotte, NC

Expert Gutter Maintenance Built
for Charlotte Homes and Weather

Charlotte’s dense tree canopy drops leaves, pollen, seed pods, and shingle grit into gutter channels from early spring through late December. When that debris compacts, water stops flowing toward the downspouts and starts finding its way behind fascia boards, under the soffit line, into foundation soil, and across manicured landscaping beds. What looks like a dirty gutter is actually a drainage failure waiting for the next heavy rain.
We built this company around one service. Every crew member, every piece of equipment, and every process step exists specifically for gutter work. The ladder standoff stabilizers, the hand-scoop method before the blower comes out, the complimentary roof blowdown on every visit: these details are only possible when gutters are the only thing you do.
If you have noticed overflow during recent storms, contact our team at 704-712-6181. We can coordinate everything without you needing to be home and will have your free quote ready the same day.

Every Gutter Style, Cleaned the Right Way

Every Gutter Style, Cleaned the Right Way
We clean every gutter profile including K-style, seamless, half-round, box, and copper. Each style collects and holds debris differently, so the crew adjusts technique for every job. Rounded profiles get a modified scoop to avoid bending the lip. Copper gets hand-cleared without chemicals or abrasive tools to preserve the patina. Box gutters built into the roofline get careful attention because trapped debris holds water directly against the roof structure.
No matter the material, shape, or mounting method, we clear the channel, confirm drainage, and leave the system working the way it should.
Gutters with Guards or Screens
When guards are present and working, we clear the openings and outer surfaces without removal at standard pricing. If debris has accumulated underneath, we remove the guards, clean the channel, and reinstall them, which increases both time and cost. Permanent removal and disposal is also available. Guards glued or nailed into roofing material cannot be safely opened, and we will let you know on-site if that applies.
Why Charlotte Homeowners
Choose Gleaming Gutters

Hand-scoop method on every residential job
All debris is removed by hand, bagged, and hauled away. The blower is a finishing tool for fine crumbs, not the primary method. No debris blasted across your patio and no material driven deeper into the downspouts.

Ladder standoff stabilizers on every ladder
Each ladder is fitted with a stabilizer that holds it away from the gutter face, preventing the bending and deformation other crews leave behind.

Complimentary roof blowdown included
Every cleaning comes with a roof blowdown at no extra charge. Debris on the roof surface is blown down and cleaned up as part of the standard service.

Full property cleanup after every job
Decks, patios, driveways, walkways, outdoor furniture, and flower beds are all cleared before the crew leaves.

Thumbtack Top Pro for seven consecutive years
Our team has earned this recognition through verified customer reviews and consistent job quality, not paid placement. We are also a Better Business Bureau member, licensed, and insured.

Before-and-after photos on every job
The crew photographs the gutters before work begins and again after the job is complete. If a question ever comes up about what was done or what condition the gutters were in, there is a visual record on file.

How the Gutter Cleaning
Works from Start to Finish
We assess your home using aerial photos, looking at gutter coverage, roof pitch, building height, and roofline complexity. Most residential quotes are completed without an in-person visit. Once approved, the office schedules your appointment.
You receive a reminder the day before the scheduled service. On the morning of the job, the technician sends a text when the crew is headed your way.
Before any ladder goes up, the crew walks the property to identify power lines, string lights, overhanging obstacles, and plant beds. Ladder placement is mapped to avoid landscape damage.
Starting at one end of the gutter run, the crew removes all heavy debris by hand into buckets and bags. Once the bulk material is out, a blower clears the remaining fine crumbs and dust from the channel. Air is then pushed through every downspout to verify it is clear. If a blockage is found, the crew resolves it by disassembling the downspout section, running a water hose through, or applying sustained air pressure.
Any debris on the roof surface is blown down at no additional charge. Once the roof and gutters are clear, the crew cleans every surface the job touches such as decks, patios, driveways, walkways, furniture, and flower beds. The gutter face and any affected siding are rinsed off before moving on.
If the crew spots any damage during the job, such as loose sections, failing hangers, or cracked seams, you are told before they leave. A completion text is sent when the job is done. Your invoice arrives electronically, and we accept cards, cash, or checks. An automated review link is sent after the service is complete.
Gutter Cleaning Costs and
What Drives Your Quote
Most residential gutter cleanings start at $149 and fall between $149 and $400, with the average home coming in around $250. Larger or more complex homes can go higher, but that range covers the majority of jobs we handle.
We do not price gutter cleaning based on square footage alone. Every quote factors in gutter coverage, roof pitch, building height, roofline complexity, and whether guards are present. A two-story home with full-perimeter gutters and a steep pitch is a different job than a single-story ranch with partial coverage, and the price reflects that.
- Multi-Service Discount: Combine three or more services in a single visit and save 10% on the total.
- Military Discount: Active-duty military members and veterans receive 5% off any service.
- Senior Citizen Discount: We proudly offer senior homeowners a 5% discount on any service.
Charlotte’s heavy tree canopy and extended leaf drop season mean gutters need more consistent attention than most homeowners expect. We offer three plan tiers to match the level of coverage your property actually needs:
- Bi-Annual Plan: Two cleanings per year for homes with moderate tree coverage, timed after spring blooming (around May) and after leaves have fully fallen (November or December).
- Quarterly Plan: Four cleanings per year for homes with heavy canopy, covering post-winter, spring, late summer, and late fall.
- Premium Plan: Six cleanings per year for properties with very dense canopy, including three visits during the October through December leaf drop window.

Our Guarantee and Coverage
Our Clean-Flow Rain Promise
If your gutters are not draining properly within 14 days of our service, call us and we will come back to make it right at no additional cost. If you notice anything in the days following your cleaning, the crew returns to address it. That return visit is built into how we operate.
We are upfront about what a gutter cleaning guarantee realistically covers. During active leaf fall, new debris accumulates within days of any cleaning. The benchmark we hold ourselves to is simple. Within 14 days of service, water should be moving freely, and if it is not, we are back on-site.
Full Liability Insurance Coverage
Every job is fully covered by our liability insurance policy. Your home, your landscaping, and our crew are protected on every visit.

What Your Charlotte Neighbors Are Saying

Gutter Cleaning Questions
Charlotte Homeowners Ask
How much does gutter cleaning cost in Charlotte, NC?
Residential gutter cleaning starts at $149. Most homes fall between $149 and $400, with the average job landing around $250. We weigh gutter coverage, roof pitch, building height, how complex the roofline is, and whether guards are installed. Square footage alone does not determine the price.
How long does a typical gutter cleaning take?
For a standard home around 2,500 square feet, expect the job to take roughly an hour. Homes with steep pitches, complex rooflines, or guards that need to be removed will take longer.
Do you clean underground drainage lines?
No. Our downspout service covers the gutter channel to the ground exit point only. Underground pipes, French drains, and buried drainage lines are not part of the scope. This is noted on every estimate because it comes up frequently.
What if my gutters have guards installed?
It depends on the condition. If the guards are working, we clear the openings without removing them and the price stays standard. If debris has built up underneath, we remove the guards, clean the channel, and reinstall them, which takes longer and increases the cost. We can also remove and dispose of guards you no longer want. Guards that are glued or nailed into roofing cannot be serviced.
How often should gutters be cleaned in Charlotte?
At minimum, twice a year: once around May after the blooming season and once in late fall after the leaves have dropped. Charlotte’s tree coverage makes this especially relevant. Homes with heavier canopy benefit from four visits per year, and we offer a six-visit plan for properties where leaf drop runs from October through December.
Do I need to be home during the gutter cleaning?
No. The crew sends an arrival text, completes the work, and sends a completion text when finished. Your invoice arrives electronically and we accept cards, cash, or check.
Is there a guarantee on the service?
Yes. If your gutters are not draining cleanly after the next rainfall, call us and we will come back at no additional cost. If you notice anything in the days following the service, a return visit is included.
