How a Gutter Repair Works,
Start to Finish
You call or text us with the relevant details. We ask what the damage looks like, where it is on the home, and whether you have any photos on hand. From there, one of two paths forward begins.
For visible, defined damage, you send a photo. A clear image is often enough to confirm the material needed, set the scope, and produce a written estimate without rolling a truck out first. For damage that is not easily identifiable, such as unexplained leaks or water intrusion from an unclear source, an on-site assessment is scheduled. We evaluate the full gutter system and follow up with a formal estimate. There is no charge for the on-site visit.
Once the estimate is approved, we put the job on the calendar. A reminder goes out 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
We send a text when en route. On arrival, the repair site is walked to confirm what was scoped matches what is on the ground. If additional damage becomes visible once sections are removed or pulled back, you are notified before anything outside the original estimate is touched.
Depending on scope, the work may include replacing hangers and screws, reattaching or replacing downspouts, fabricating and installing a new gutter section on-site, resealing a joint or end cap, or replacing the fascia board. For section replacements, the old material is removed and hauled away. Nothing is left on-site.
Decks, driveways, and walkways are cleared of all debris before we leave. Any dropped fasteners from the teardown or installation are collected as part of the final walkthrough.
A job-complete text goes out when the work is done. An electronic invoice is sent, and payment is accepted by card, cash, or check.

Our crew offers fascia board replacement as long as the rot is confined strictly to the board where the gutter mounts. If the wood rot has already spread into the structural framing or rafter tails behind that board, that deeper structural work falls outside our technical scope. In many cases, fascia replacement and gutter repair can be completed in the same visit.
Can you reseal a leaking corner or joint?
Yes. Corners, end caps, and miters can be resealed. Joint sealant is the one repair type that does not carry a guarantee. Thermal movement, UV exposure, and the natural expansion and contraction of the gutter affect sealant longevity in ways that cannot be controlled or predicted. The work is done completely, and the limitation is stated before the job is scheduled.
Do you clear underground downspout drains?
No. Service covers from the gutter to the ground only. Above-ground downspout clogs can be cleared by disassembling the downspout, snaking it, or blowing air through it. For underground drainage blockages, a drainage specialist is the right call.
Can you extend my downspout to direct water away from the foundation?
Yes. Above-ground downspout extensions are installed to redirect runoff further from the structure.
What happens if more damage is found once the repair has started?
If additional damage becomes visible once sections are removed or pulled back, you are notified immediately. Nothing beyond the original estimate is done without your approval. Any scope additions go through a separate sign-off before the work continues.
